A blog to chronicle our experiences and findings as we traveled around the globe. Paul had been interested in attending a travel and tropical medicine course since finding out about them in medical school. He was accepted into the London School of Tropical Medicine East Africa program in 2012. We decided to combine this 3 month class with our long time dream of traveling around the globe.

Some pictures so far.
Here the boys are dead on their feet wishing for sleep, making a SHORT transfer in Iceland on the way to Belgium, they were such good travelers. Today was a hard jet lag day for them.
In the Pacific North West we think we are very into our beer. We don't hold a candle to Belgians. Each beer you drink needs to have its own shape glass, like wine. They insist this is not a ploy by brewers to sell glasses with logos on them (which I suggested) and they won't taste right without the right glass. Apparently most Belgians have around 10-15 different shaped glasses in their houses.
